PROGRAMMES

At
3 Ducks Daycare, we make sure your child is exposed to learning
and imaginative play through the age-appropriate activities that
we offer for the children under our fulltime care. To
discuss details of each program, please call (408) 528-1016 or
email 3ducksdaycare@sbcglobal.net.
We
currently offer the following learning programs for the children
under our care. All the children who are under my care fulltime
are in these programs.
- Infant
Program, 4mos. -- 17 mos.
Early
Childhood experts have determined that regular face to face
interaction, cuddling, sensory stimulation, and exposure to
play activities is vey beneficial to even very young children
and infants. Such children are more alert, learn faster and
are more socially adjusted. Here is the infant
curriculum designed to maximize these important benefits
that I use for the infants under my charge.
-
For
this age group, I offer some loosely structured, age-appropriate
activities throughout the day. The fun aspect of the activities
is emphasised as much as the learning aspect. The activities
are designed to introduce simple concepts like shapes, colors,
seasons and numbers to the child. This program ensures preschool-readiness
for children in this age group. Here is the playgroup
curriculum I have designed for the children under my
charge.
- Toddler
Program, 24 mos. -- 36 mos.
For
this age group, I offer a structured, age-appropriate preschool
readiness program during the morning hours. The fun aspect of
the activities is emphasised as much as the learning aspect.
My curriculum introduces preschool concepts to the children
in a stress-free manner that emphasises learning. My preschool
program includes extras such as visits to the Easter bunny and
field trips. A detailed breakdown of my toddler
program curriculum is available here.
